You're Not Who You Were

The universe is divided between warring metaphysical factions, each trying to assert their particular view of the world. You are a Lacuna, an immortal member of the Void - committed to freedom, growth, change, and the right of everything to exist. Unfortunately, your immortality comes with two downsides: a curse that is constantly trying to undo you (fatally); and the enmity of the faction Beauty, who believe in a more selective vision of what belongs in existence.

You're Not Who You Were is a tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) for 3-5 players and a facilitator. It is set in "the real world," but the characters are also immortals with magic powers and cosmic commitments. Game play follows their interests, goals, and relationships, creating a flexible space to play out stories of almost any tone.

This is a standalone game, but can also be seen as a hack of Glitch, by Jenna Moran. It uses diceless mechanics. In order to perform actions, players pay from a pool of energy, accruing wounds and narrative consequences along the way. Quests structure the story and provide XP for advancement. The book also contains scenario ideas for facilitators, featuring problems to solve and suggested questions to investigate.
